Aimee Wells Quin, the founder of West Berkeley Wellness, is a licensed Acupuncturist and clinical Herbalist with a Masterʼs of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from ACTCM, one of the leading Chinese medical schools in the country. She has been a licensed health care practitioner since 1998 and has been serving Bay Area residents since 1999. Her deep commitment to providing the very best for her patients fuels her habit of constantly attending continuing education courses and expanding her knowledge base.
During her individualized treatments, Aimee pulls from her diverse knowledge of restoring and optimizing health. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Genetics and Pre-Medicine at UC Davis, 1200 hours of training in therapeutic massage at the Hawaiian Islands School of Body Therapies, she is a trained doula, and she did post-graduate work in internal medicine at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China. She extends her boundless gratitude to her mentor, Dr. Robert Levine, for showing her how to bring compassion, humor, and intelligence into every treatment.
Jean-Louis Richiardone is a licensed Acupuncturist & Herbalist with a Masters degree from ACTCM in San Francisco, California. Jean-Louis has been a licensed healthcare practitioner since 2005, and has been serving communities in the Bay Area since 2006.
He brings to his current practice extensive clinical experience as a New York licensed Massage Therapist, and from graduate and post-graduate internships at hospitals and medical clinics such as the California Pacific Medical Hospital (Division of Post Surgery Rehabilitation), the Haight Ashbury Medical Clinic, and the prestigious Chengdu Hospital of TCM, in Chengdu, China. He also served as an acupuncturist aboard the Holland America Line, M.S. Zuiderdam, and provided over 800 treatments for conditions ranging from acute and chronic pain and illness, to weight management and everything in between. Through his practice, Jean-Louis commits to empowering his patients to reach their health goals the natural way, using safe, gentle and time honored healing traditions. Jean-Louis has also completed an advanced certification in microcurrent therapy for facial rejuvenation. Jean-Louis sees patients on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Monday mornings.
Sage Staggs is a California licensed and nationally certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist. She holds a Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from ACTCM in San Francisco and has been a licensed health care practitioner since 2005. Prior to her studies in Chinese medicine, Sage was a practicing herbalist and a licensed massage therapist. At ACTCM, she completed internships in the treatment of pain, addiction, and mental health at the Haight Ashbury Free Clinic and Lifelong Medical Care.
Sage’s calm focus and skillful touch guide her treatments. In addition to sharing her extensive knowledge of whole foods nutrition and mindfulness practices to support patients between sessions, she creates a sanctuary where truly restorative healing can take place. Sage is experienced in the treatment of pain, sleep issues, immune disorders, and mood imbalances. She is also has a focus on functional medicine as it pertains to fertility, hormone regulation, and menopause. Sage sees patients on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
Miero Park is a licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine herbalist practicing in California. Prior to receiving her Masters of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at ACTCM, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis on Holistic Health at San Francisco State University. With over 3000 hours of clinical training, she is currently continuing to deepen her knowledge and passion for medicine as a doctoral candidate at ACTCM.
Through her years of serving communities across the Bay Area, she has treated various conditions including orthopedic injuries, chronic and acute pain, mental health support, addiction rehabilitation, and women’s health. Miero is also trained in bio-therapeutic microcurrent facials and facial rejuvenation acupuncture. While working in the skin care industry prior to becoming an acupuncturist, she developed a deep passion for health, fitness, and nutrition practices. Her goal is to always have her patients feeling amazing inside and out. Miero sees patients on Thursdays and Saturdays.
